A History of Excellent Residential Heating and Air Conditioning Service

In 1977, Bob Gravitt started installing residential heating and air conditioning equipment. Working out of his home the first year, he installed 150 residential heating and air systems with the help of his son Rusty. It was from these humble beginnings that northeast Georgia’s premier residential heating and air company was founded.

In 1989, Gainesville Mechanical, Inc. became a full service HVAC contracting company that provides commercial and residential heating and air conditioning services. Since then, we have added our service, plumbing and sheet metal divisions. We currently have more than 100 full-time employees and a reputation for consistent, quality service and installations—a reputation that continues to grow in the Metro Atlanta and surrounding market places.
